Teresa is originally from the Bay Area in California and can still remember when Palo Alto was still a sleepy no-man's-land south of San Francisco (Stanford wasn't called "the Farm" for nothing back then). She studied linguistics in the USA and mechanical engineering in Germany before launching her career in the software industry as a data engineer at Amazon. Since then, she has worked as a software trainer at C3 AI, introducing new customers to their enterprise AI platform, and as a solution engineering lead at the Berlin-based startup Parloa, introducing customers to the wonders (and challenges) of AI-driven voice systems in customer service. Since January, she has been working as an AI architect at HiddenLayer, supporting their customers and partners in EMEA with advice and support on implementing security for AI.
